A conspiracy is defined by law as an agreement between two or more people to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act. Most widely considered at present is ‘secret societies’. Though the past or present existence of these secret societies is not disputed, a variety of theories regarding hidden plots and/or agendas actively guarded from the general public have been proposed. The short list includes Ashmedai’ 2069, 1001 Club, Bilderberg Group, Bohemian, Grove, Committee of 300, Common Purpose, Acorn, Council on Foreign Relations, Freemasonry, The Illuminati, Le Cercle, Majestic 12, Men In Black, Nine Unknown Men, Pilgrims Society, Royal Institute of International Affairs, Skull & Bones, Trilateral Commission. The long list is infinite. It sports the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Lincoln’s assassination, New World Order, 911, Federal Reserve System, Social Security, False Flag Operations, all Wars, various Coups d’état, Clinton Body Count, Bush Body Count, Technology and Weapons, Suppression of Technology, Surveillance, espionage and intelligence, Media, DTV Transition, Medicine, Drug Legalization, Drug prohibition, Chemtrails, Diet, Fast food, Creation of Diseases, Water fluoridation, Traditional, Natural and Alternative Medicines, Peak Oil, Armenian International Conspiracy, Jewish world Domination, Muslim World Domination, Arab-Israeli relations, ‘Babylon’ and racist oppression, La Reconquista (Mexico), Paranormal Activity, Evil Aliens, Exploitation of Extraterrestrials, Apocalyptic prophecies, Bible Conspiracy, Quran Conspiracy, Buddhist Conspiracy Theory, Catholicism as veiled continuation of Babylonian Paganism, Jerusalem Temple Candelabrum in the Vatican Cellars, God, Satan, Angels, Demons, Atheism, Disney, Movies, Candy, Soda, Music, Fashion & Dancing. That is just for starters. All these are validated ‘theories’ of large scale conspiracies.
One real conspiracy, I believe, is our willingness to buy into the absurd idea that anyone is, at all, in charge of this global mess. Yes, the rich keep getting richer, the poor poorer, but what drives that? Our spendable dollars drive it. We cower in our homes convinced that someone, anyone, other than we, are in charge of the larger picture. We buy into the seductive complacency of these Conspiracy Theories. We are afraid to get involved, to vote, to protest, lest we lose what little financial or social stability we hang on to. If you think corporate control is a creeping evil, then stop supporting big corporations!! Start voting for third party candidates. Get involved in community events and organizations. Lobby local government for independent sustainable infrastructures. Move your accounts to small local banks. Move investments from Wall Street, to main street bank investments like CD’s, and IRA’s. Patronize locally owned and operated businesses. Play board games with your family instead of going to the movies or amusement parks.
These are but a few suggestions. Whatever you do, above all, STOP perpetuating the fear. STOP sharing the online links to the never ending flood of paranoid conspiracy sites and blogs. Speak out! Get involved! Do what you can to reverse the flow of mass hysteria away from the ‘boogie man’ and move back to sensible thought processes! Sure, there are definitely those volleying for control at all levels. They will only achieve the amount of control that YOU GIVE THEM! Think, people…think and act.
